I recently got my 96 GLX while at school. When I bought it, the motor was on its way out and has since been replaced with a ~30k mile motor. It originally had the Jetta front, but after a hoodlatch failure, I swapped to a GTI front with smoked e-codes and OEM grille, and hood. The hood is to be painted soon to match. The car also has an H&R cup kit, EIP stage 2 chip, modded airbox w/ K&N, and a magnaflow exhaust. More recently, I have painted the factory "bugatti" wheels gold, and repainted my hood flat black for the time. I have a long list of things I want to clean up before I'm content with the car, but its well on its way!
