The story:
This car was driven a year as a bone stock Wolfsburg Edition. After a chip trial at H2Oi in 2006, the tide started to roll. Not soon after it was chipped, downpipe, water/meth.
I've been through many sets of wheels, my favorite were some Porsche mesh wheels in 19x10 rear and 19x8.5 front. Sick setup, but needed to part with them for the big turbo build.
The actual build of the motor is complete and being driven during the breakin period. It took about 6 months to complete. Going less conventional routes on some items took additional time and research.
Update:
Re-dynoed after some very disappointing initial results. Improvement to 376whp was made on pump gas. Still not at the goal, but a lot closer.
The goal is to reach low 400's on pump gas and make this NC's strongest Jetta.
