How everyone doing...
I'm Darryl and I'm part of a group called FuKenEuRo...
My ride is a 99 golf gti that i have been working on from a shell... this is my first mk4 that i have every owned and i luv the way its coming together because the way i got it...

Before i had gotten this car i had a fully done vr6 mk2 gti that i loved cause i put so much work and effort into it just to get it the right way i wanted, but everything changed when i had blew the motor...
so after blowing the motor i then sold the shell cause i needed money to afford another car but it hearts to get rid of it but i needed a car quick... so i told a buddy of mine and he told me about a 4 door golf he knew about but when i went to go check it out it was actually a 2 door golf with a blown auto 2.0 with a clean body, I couldn't pass up the deal so i pick it up for $1000 and this is were everything began...

Now i have a shell with hardly any money to get the car working so i started trading parts that i had sitting around and one day i got lucky when a fellow vortex member had hit me up and wanted to trade his 2.0 motor swap with manual tranny for a set of sparco pro2000 seats i had in my previous mk2, so i did the trade and the next day i started swapping over the motor... Now i finally got the swap finished and now the days of driving a mk4 begun...
After a few months go by and sein a lot of clean dubs i start adding things little by little until the day came when i got my koni coilovers and added a drop. Now i was feeling good about my car and now that i had a drop the feeling of more power came when i missed the power of my vr6 and wanted that feeling back.
After a few weeks i stumbled on a 1.8t swap with everything i needed but didn't know the amount of work i needed to make it happen until i was half way through the swap but i finally got it done...Now i felt good that now i have back a nice dub i could enjoy but after sein more dubs made me wanna do more
so i begun working on the interior. But before i jump i look to see what no one really had and first thing popped up was a denim look, so i wrapped my headliner and C pillars in denim and wrapped my A and B pillars and both airbag covers as well as my back deck lid in a peanut butter suede...
After a cool down point of not doing anything to my car cause i didn't have much money as is, i ended up still spending money breaking oil pans after pans and i got fustraited. but thanks the a few buddy's at forcedfed engineering i was able to keep getting it welded until one day i met 2 cool guy named paulito and vinny with a mk5 gti on airbags and a clean a mk4 also on bags an this is when i decided to go bags. so i then ordered a kid from another cool guy kevin@ACC and begun installation. after the hole installation i was now surprised of how far i came in such a short time and also all the cool people i met that gave me some advice.
As weeks go by a buddy of mine starts parting out his jetta so he traded me the rest of the shell for a new set of coilovers and this is were i decided to swap the jetta nose on my car. I then got it painted a and here i am now...
i spent so much time and effort into my car and im happy how its turned out and now i hope everyone else appreciates it as much as i ***
thanks and i hope u like

Just to let everyone know what I'm looking to overcome with this car is a clean somewhat of a stock look but still an eye catcher...
JUST A FEW THINGS DONE TO MY RIDE:
-The car is on Koni Struts with Air bags
-Huff Wheels
-interior is done with a denim headliner and suede A-B pillars, also the driver side and passenger airbag cover is suede...
-jetta front conversion with aftermarket grill
-custom trunk for air bag setup and also my subs is in the floor...
-upgraded turbo
-GIAC flash
-Clutch flywheel pressure plate
-3 inch down pipe to a 3 inch borla
there's a lot more so i hope u guys enjoy my car as much as i enjoy working on it
